Turbocast 300 Gritter spreads dry, damp or wet grit/salt mixture. With its adjustable wide-spread spinning action, Turbocast 300 Gritter spreads to a width of between 3 and 7 metres with minimum effort.
Designed with a balanced weight distribution, Turbocast 300 can be easily pushed along, even when fully laden.
The hopper is manufactured from corrosion-resistant, double-skinned Durapol® Material in Yellow Ref 356 to BS 381 C. Durapol is a tough, durable and robust polymer, formulated to withstand extreme temperatures. This high-quality material is available in a variety of self-coloured options which will not chip or rust and will never need painting. Turbocast 300 has an extra-durable Armortec® coated chassis. Armortec is a corrosion resistant coating, which is specially formulated to extend the life of Glasdon metal products and components used externally.
The Turbocast 300 Salt Spreader is available with the option of a drop spreading kit. This converts the Turbocast from a broadcast spreader to a drop spreader at the pull of a spring pin lock device. This enhances the Turbocast’s ability to evenly spread grit or salt with precision for efficient manual gritting.
