Emerging industrialized countries have become important markets for the development of general aviation, The BRlCS countries, including Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa, have a total of about 45,000 general aircraft, accounting for about 10% of the global proportion, there is great potential for future market development. According to statistics, Brazil and South Africa are the earliest emerging markets to develop the general aviation market, with over 10,000 aircraft in their fleets. Currently, following the global trend of industrial transfer, the share of high-end manufacturing, including general aviation, shifting from developed to developing countries is increasing annually. China and India are seen by numerous general aircraft manufacturers as having the most promising market potential for the future.

As of 2023, the worldwide delivery of business and general aircraft has exceeded 4000 for the first time in 10 years, reaching 4012 units, of which 962 are helicopters valued at 4.4 billion US dollars, a year-on-year increase of 11%.

By the end of 2023, the low-altitude economy was designated as a strategic emerging industry in China. Funded by a suite of supportive policies, the low-altitude sector in China has experienced rapid development, with a continual rise in the number of low-altitude aircraft and enterprises. Owing to its inherent digital economy DNA, the low-altitude comprehensive industry, encompassing manufacturing, low-altitude flight operations, and integrated services, can fully reap the benefits of advancements in information technology, digitization, and intelligence. It is projected that by 2025, this sector could contribute 3 trillion to 5 trillion yuan to the Chinese economy.
